Castle and Cooke Mortgage is a national mortgage company with a local office in Blair Ne. These guys are small, very well known and widely used in Washington County. The title company loved their closing docs. Since they have in-house underwriting, they can be more flexible with getting pre-approvals for unique situations as well as having no problem with 2 or 3 weeks closings if you are looking for that. He just did a 2 week closing for my client without any problem. He also had her pre-approved quickly, rather than just pre-qualified. He also shared some great tips to share with your clients for preventative maintenance things every home owner should be doing:
1) Once a month pour a 5 gallon bucket of water down your main floor drain
2) Once a month fill your kitchen sink and bathroom sinks with water (really full) and drain completely (this creates head pressure which will help keep your drain clean and a totally different kind of pressure than just running water for personal use)
3) Flush your toilets twice at night (I don't remember what he said this does, but it is important):)
4) Once a month use a plunger on your tub drain and shower drain, he said this is a great preventative measure

They will clear out an entire house of stuff for about $65 per hour plus the cost of a dumpster. They will even handle biohazard materials. If there is anything salvageable (primarily furniture or collectibles) they will try to sell it in their secondhand store and if it sells credit the client back for half of what they sold it for. Andrew Wigton is an arborist with Monster Tree Care. Not only is Andrew a great human being, he’s also excellent at his craft. My entire block of neighbors now uses him because he is fairly priced, does great work, tries to save trees instead of hacking them down, and he’s speedy.
